Grant Opportunities

DATE

DATE is a program created by the 79th legislature to provide funding for districts to reward teachers for having a positive impact on student achievement. The goal of the NISD DATE plan is to provide funding to support district-wide goals and the implementation of a financial award system.

NEF Grants

Northside Education Foundation Grants are available to any Northside ISD employee. Northside Education Foundation competitive grants are awarded to fund innovative projects or programs. In its history, the foundation has awarded TEAM grants of up to $10,000, mini grants of up to $500 and innovation grants of up to $1,000.

TEEG

TEEG is an incentive pay program created by the 79th Texas legislature, to reward staff at the state’s most economically disadvantaged campuses that demonstrate the highest levels of student achievement or improvement. Northside ISD has participated in the past 3 TEEG Cycles, and will complete the final cycle in the 2008-2009 school year.
