Innovator of the Year

Jonathan Dale, Web Technologist for the Communications Department, was named the recipient of the 2008-2009 Rawlinson Innovator of the Year award by the Northside Education Foundation.

Named for former Superintendent Ed Rawlinson, the award honors staff members who develop an innovative idea that is successfully implemented.

Dale created a fully online and interactive process to nominate and select campus Educators of the Year. The EOY web site Dale created is very user-friendly and greatly simplified the nomination and selection process for staff members, saving both time and money.

With assistance from Superintendent John Folks, Rawlinson, left, presented Dale with a plaque and $250 check from NEF at Administrator Institute this summer.
